Large 19th Century Antique French Jeweled Tiara Hair Ornamental Comb in Tortoise Shell

So pretty! Found in France ages ago, this stunning tiara-type arched ornamental hair comb is beautiful in wear, though it is slightly imperfect so very affordable. Dates Victorian to Art Nouveau, c.1870-1900, Napoleon III to Belle Epoch. The top is a high polished brass and set with French paste stones, a larger emerald-green one centered in the ribbon bow, then some smaller clear ‘gems’ to the sides. Blond tortoise shell comb is missing 1 tine, and shows an old repair as well (visible only from back). One to wear with upturned chignon or French twist, or make it be your ‘something old’ as a bride’s headpiece by attaching a tulle veil. Full measurements noted on the photos. The width does not take into account the deep curve. A flat measurement would be just over 5″ across the top.
