A gorgeous pair, folding reading glasses, lorgnette in very fine form, lenses intact and undamaged, 18k gold cartouche awaits your monogram. The functioning mechanism is smooth and without loss or damage, and the stunning cognac and chocolate tortoise shell housing is without loss or flaw, as ell. Large bale to hang on a gold chain or a velvet ribbon, the set dates c.1850-70. Full measurements noted on the photos.
