Antique to Vintage 14k Gold Jeweler’s Loupe, Folding and with Bale for Pendant or Chain Jewelry

Nice clear lens, 14k gold self-housing hinged jeweler’s loupe with bale. The chain shown is not included, but will be sold separately. This is my own pendant loupe I’ve worn for decades when out buying antiques so I can check maker marks. You’ll note it’s got some surface rubs when shown enlarged greatly as we have in these photos, but it’s not obvious in wear. One could have it rouge polished to bring back to high brilliant gold. My interest was more in the clarity of the magnifying glass, which is superb. I bought this item perhaps 20 years ago in London. Full measurements noted on photos. 

Very good condition for vintage age and type. As noted, light surface abrasions from much use, can be wheel polished. There are no bends, deep scrapes, and the lens is clear. Hinge is tight and smooth, stays in the cover housing when worn. NOTE: only the loupe. My heavy gold chain will be sold separately.
