Antique Victorian Era 12k Gold and Enameled Mourning Pin, Brooch with Dark Blond Hair Art

From my own collections of decades: Antique 12k Gold and seed pearl hair art mourning brooch, c 1780s to 1820, Georgian Era. Total weight: 5.18 grams. Double row of kiln-fired enamel highlights the plaited hair memento within. Plaiting of dark blond hair, and engraving on back but impossible to read. I sometimes use these grouped on a jacket lapel, or clasped over a strand of pearls – so many compliments!

Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Brooch is 29 mm x 21 mm x 5 mm plus pin back. No breaks and no dents. Superb Victorian to Georgian jewelry!
